Be like this Corvette C8 owner! They had us perform a 2-step paint correction to remove the light scratches from the vehicle being washed/wiped down at the dealer. We then the covered the whole front end in Xpel paint protection film to keep it stone chip free. And lastly, we applied a Ceramic Pro gold package ceramic coating to keep this paint looking wet and protected from anything nature throws at it. 👍

Ceramic coated cars DO NOT CLEAN THEMSELVES! 😆

We hear this one a lot since ceramic coating hit the market. Many people believe that once your car is ceramic coated you never need to wash it again. Oh man, I wish that were true! 🙏🏼

The truth is… Ceramic coated cars do have a “self cleaning ability”. Don’t be confused though, this is a very limited self cleaning. It basically means the the surface is so slick, most light dust will fly right off when you drive your car. This is why ceramic coated cars stay cleaner looking for far longer than any non ceramic coated car.

That being said, your ceramic coated car can only self clean when there is LIGHT DUST on it. Which is why we recommend a wash weekly or bi-weekly depending on where you store your car (in the garage or in the driveway) and how often it is driven on our dirty roads.

Ceramic Pro coatings are amazing and work incredibly well at beading water and contamination on the surface. They clean up incredibly fast and always have a deep, rich, wet look to them even when dirty. But, they still need to be cleaned often. Maintenance is key to get the best performance out of your ceramic coating!

I wash my personal cars once per week for the ones that are daily driven. After a 30-45 minute thorough wash, they always look like I spent hours detailing them! This is personally my favorite benefit of my Ceramic Pro coated cars 😎

CLAY BARS DO NOT REMOVE SCRATCHES… Not even a little bit. They remove absolutely zero scratches from your paint. This is a very common misconception.

Clay bars are great for removing many things from the surface of your vehicles paint job. They are great at removing iron deposits (brake dust), fine sap, light oxidation, bee droppings and contamination on the paints surface.
Clay bars will improve the smoothness of your paints surface.
Clay bars will possibly improve some gloss due to it removing contamination that was hiding the gloss.

Claying a vehicle is highly recommended. But, expecting scratches and swirls to be removed by claying the car will be highly disappointing 👌
